Kidspace
Kidspace was developed as a ministry to our youngest brothers and sisters to help them learn about and participate in the worship service and to grow in their faith.
The Kidspace Ministry focuses on two main goals:
1. Create an inviting space and community of children and families within the sanctuary.
2. Engage children in the worship service in age appropriate ways.
We have added a number of features to help children engage in the worship experience.
· Engage children in creating liturgical decorations, including mosaic banners, coordinated with existing St. John paraments.
· Introducing live-drawn graphical interpretations of the sermon and service.
· Adding seasonal interactive activities. (ie. Battery operated Advent wreath, percussive instruments)

Our “mini” altar encourages kids to have a hands-on experience with communion.
